Lewinson Arts goal is to spread art all over the world, in the page Amigos a los que les gusta Lewinson Art, every month chooses an artist to interview, in December 2025 was choosen the artist Raphael Fund for the quality and beauty of his art works, congratulations.

1. Where are you from?

I am from Ukraine — a country with a deep cultural memory, strong visual traditions, and a powerful contemporary art voice shaped by history, resilience, and creativity. Ukraine is in awful war at the moment...

2. In your artistic life, what interesting experiences have you had?

I have worked at the intersection of fine art, digital design, and cultural storytelling, collaborating on exhibitions and art projects that connect places, nature, animal art , legends, and emotions. Especially meaningful were projects that presented european perspectives, where art became a bridge between cultures and a quiet form of dialogue. I'm a team member of local professional Artist community.

3. What interests you to express in your artwork? I am interested in expressing atmosphere, inner states, and the invisible emotional layer of places and moments. Memory, silence, beauty, fragility, charming places and creatures...are recurring themes in my work.

4. Do you have a special style?

Yes,.. I hope. My style can be described as contemporary fine art with a poetic and narrative approach. I combine strong composition with refined color harmony, often inspired by architecture, nature, and cultural symbolism, aiming for timeless rather than trendy aesthetics. I use different digital art technique in my designs.

5. Have you had an exhibition that you consider the most important or interesting, and why?

Yes, I had. Before the war in Ukraine. One of the most important experiences was participating in exhibitions that presented native art and identity in an international context. These exhibitions were not only artistic events but also meaningful cultural statements, giving art a deeper social and historical role.

6. Who are your favorite artists and why?

I admire Claude Monet for his sensitivity to light and atmosphere, Edward Hopper for emotional silence and composition, and Gustav Klimt for his symbolic language and decorative depth. I am also inspired by contemporary artists who successfully merge fine art with modern design thinking.

7. Do you want to transmit some message with your work?

Yes, I do. I want to remind people of beauty, inner balance, and human sensitivity. My work invites the viewer to slow down, feel, and reconnect with emotional depth in a fast and often noisy world.

8. What does art mean in your life?

Art is not a profession for me or hobby — it is a way of understanding the world and myself. It is a language through which I process reality, preserve meaning, and create spaces for reflection and emotional connection.

9. Which techniques do you like to work with?

I enjoy working a little with acrylic, oil, watercolor, and mixed media, as well as digital tools as my main concept development. I value techniques that allow expressive color, texture, and subtle transitions of light and shadows.

10. What would you do to bring art closer to people?

I believe art should be accessible, emotionally understandable, and present in everyday life. I would bring art closer to people through public exhibitions, collaborations with interior spaces, digital platforms, and storytelling that helps viewers emotionally connect with artworks rather than feel intimidated by them.

Merry Christmas! Sincerely, Raphael Fund
